RM McCarty (Director)

RM McCarty (Director) - THE DINNER PARTY is the seventeenth SCT production for which Rich has either been a director, musician, or performer, not to mention other shows he assisted in a technical support role. He currently serves as the President of the SCT Board. While he has experience directing large cast musicals, directing character studies – such as THE DINNER PARTY – is where his heart lies. Most recently, he directed RUMORS for SCT in the spring of 2024. Favorite performances include Wykowski in BILOXI BLUES, The Baker in INTO THE WOODS, Bill Sykes in OLIVER, and the Narrator in DANCING AT LUGHNASA. Since high school, Rich has averaged one show per year. Apparently, theater is habit forming.
