SCT Scholarship Renamed in Honor of McGloin
 

Southington Community Theatre, Inc. (SCT) honored a member of its “family” this spring.  SCT charter member Catherine McGloin died on Christmas Day 2002.  The SCT Board of Directors renamed the group’s annual scholarship award in honor of McGloin. 
 

Catherine’s lifetime spent with SCT will live on in the spirit of this annual award given to a Southington high school senior pursuing a degree in the theater arts.  Recent donations made in her memory to the group have been deposited directly into an account for use in funding this scholarship.  Future donations in McGloin’s memory to SCT will be placed into this scholarship account as well.  SCT will also collect donations at future events specifically for use in the scholarship fund.
